Sporting’s opponent in the Europa League defeated Empoli

Sporting’s opponents in the Europa League, Atalanta, were at the home of one of the red lanterns of Serie A, Empoli, winning 3-0.

A game easily controlled by the visiting team from the start: it was in the 5th minute that Gianluca Scamacca, with a backheel goal, scored the first of the night.

In the first half-hour, in the 29th minute, Teun Koopmeiners scored the second of the match.

Scamacca scored the third and final goal of the game in the 51st minute.

It should be remembered that Sporting visits Atalanta’s ground on November 30th.
