Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo has revealed his pick for the greatest player ever.
The Cameroonian star believes Lionel Messi has had a bigger influence on him than Cristiano Ronaldo, despite Ronaldo’s legendary status at Old Trafford.
Speaking with F2Freestylers, Mbeumo was asked to select his favorite players from eight different countries. His picks were:
- England: Wayne Rooney
- Brazil: Juninho
- Italy: Andrea Pirlo
- Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo
- Spain: Andrés Iniesta
- Germany: Toni Kroos
- Argentina: Lionel Messi
- Belgium: Eden Hazard
Mbeumo added that while he respects both Messi and Ronaldo as role models, Messi remains the player who inspires him the most.
