Wendel Silva was the best player in October and November

Wendel Silva, forward from FC Porto B, was, this Thursday, chosen as the best player of the month in the II League for the months of October/November.

The 23-year-old player received the preference of all coaches in the competition, and received 23.61 percent of the coaches’ votes. The Canarinho beat competition from Gustavo Silva (Nacional), with 22.22 percent of the votes, and Bruno Almeida (Santa Clara), with 12.50 percent of the votes.

During the period in question, the Brazilian striker, who had also been chosen as the striker of October and November, scored seven goals and seven assists in six games for Porto’s secondary team.
