Benfica already has a pre-season game scheduled

Eagles should start work on the new season in July.

Benfica is still in party mode, days after winning the 38th national title in history. However, work is already underway and planning for the new season, especially the pre-season, which should start at the end of July.

Still without any schedule announced by the Eagles, there is already a game on the calendar. Basel announced on the stadium’s giant screens a game against the Reds on July 16th. The meeting will be special for the home club.

Benfica will ‘sponsor’ the presentation of Basel’s new equipment, as well as the club’s new bus, as the announcement says. The game is scheduled for a week before the Super Cup, which will be played against FC Porto or Sp. Braga.
