Cote d’Ivoire has been confirmed as the new host of the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Championship, replacing Nigeria.
The tournament was originally set to take place in Nigeria next month, with the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta and the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne as the main venues.
However, the WAFU B council decided to move the event to Cote d’Ivoire because renovation works are currently ongoing at the Remo Stars Stadium. The upgrade project began earlier this week.
