Kyle Walker Requests Immediate Exit from Manchester City
Manchester City captain and right-back Kyle Walker has asked to leave the club immediately to explore opportunities abroad. Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed the development, stating:
“In his mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years [somewhere else] for many reasons.”
Walker, 34, has been a key figure at City since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017.
Saudi Pro League Clubs Show Interest
Several Saudi Pro League clubs, including Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad, are reportedly preparing offers in the range of €12–15 million to sign the experienced right-back. A move to Al-Nassr could see Walker reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Walker’s Manchester City Legacy
Since arriving at the Etihad, Walker has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the 2023 UEFA Champions League. His leadership and defensive prowess have made him a vital part of Guardiola’s squad.
Walker’s decision signals the end of an era at Manchester City. His next move remains uncertain, but a transfer to Saudi Arabia appears likely, offering a fresh challenge and a lucrative contract.
